    How and Why to Apply

Thank you for wanting to join Ventrix United!

    Joining =VxU= is simple
While we are open to having anybody in our community we do look for people who will be active in the community. We understand people do have reasons to take a leave of absence but we do ask for communication and make a topic in the members section if something in real life has come up and you need to take care of it. Real life will always have priority in all situations, we simply ask to just fill us in if you need to be away for awhile and so forth. You do not need to go into detail on the situation, just give us a heads up that's all in the members section.

    Requirements to Join
We are glad that you have chosen =VxU= as a place to stay and we will be looking over your application and will get back to you shortly with your status in the auto generated thread your application will make. We do require new initiates to do a few things not only to prove they plan on participating and being active but it also gives everyone in the community a chance to meet and greet you as a person as well. While we are a laid back community we do ask for participation. It doesn't have to be 24/7 within the community, but participation is what makes this community grow and brings members together.

You must make an introduction post located here: Introduce Yourself
    Read our Rules and Policies.
Fill out an application located at the link on the bottom of this page.
If online/in-game you are expected to be on Teamspeak, no exceptions. This opens up room for community growth and there are awesome perks for being online!
    Be active weekly on Teamspeak.
    Be active weekly on Forum.

Please note: Once you complete these requirements, you must wait for our staff team to process your application and to receive a vouch.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to fill out an application?
In short, yes. This application will serve as a record of your time in Ventrix United. It also helps us create a demographic of what games are performing well in our community.

Why do I need a vouch?
The vouch system is our way of ensuring that trolls are not accepted into our community.

Am I required to be active on the website/forum?
In short, yes. We require our members to be active on all of our platforms to help support the community as a whole. All members and initiates are required to post at a minimum of 3 times a week.

Am I forced to wear the =VxU= tags?
This is a grey area due to how hard it is to manage. The fine line is that you do not need to make your Steam, Origin, Battle Net or any other platform names something such as "=VxU= Billy69". If you choose to, then that is fine! We do require all members to join the Ventrix United Steam group, which can be found here. Games such as League of Legends, CS:GO, and MMOs have group functions that allow you to join our club, guild, etc.. This is expected for you to join.

Am I allowed to be part of another community or clan?
If it is a game we support and have a player base/interest in, then no. We expect our members to be loyal to our community first and foremost.

Am I part of =VxU= if I am part of ...?
To wear our tags anywhere in your name, you must have an approved application. If you are in our Steam group, Rust clan, etc, that does not make you an official Ventrix United member. We do however appreciate you being an active part of our community and social media outlets.

Teamspeak - Overview of basic concerns
We are aware that some people are simply not comfortable using their actual voice to talk and may be shy or weary of strangers you are meeting on the internet for the first time but please do not let that discourage you. Just read below and you will find we are very relaxed when dealing with issues like those within our community.

You can download Teamspeak here: Teamspeak Download
Our Teamspeak server info can be found here.

    - We do ask that you join Teamspeak as it does promote a fun environment while you are gaming. Even our founder was once a very shy individual when he first started gaming and being on a VOIP program like Discord. But over time it truly will bring you out of your shell and you'll start having a great time with everyone giving live feedback and really feel like you are communicating as a team. If you'd like to just hang out in the "Lounge" you can do that until you get comfortable joining a room with 10+ people or simply typing in the Teamspeak chat box until you get the courage to speak as well.

Do you have a question not listed here?
Get in touch with a clan member or staff and we can happily point you in the right direction.
